Mt Rainier & Auntie Shel visit

Lots to update! I've been working more.. and the updates seem to be coming less. We had Auntie Shel visiting last weekend and I decided we needed to get out and explore - so Claire had her very first hiking experience (out of the womb) and I'm sure not her last! We had such a blast in the park and hope to go back when Grandma Pat is here all next month (that's right Blog fans! Grandma Pat will be here all of the month of October - to hang out with Claire and company while mommy goes back to work full time)

Claire & Auntie Shel:

Here are some shots of our day in the Mt Rainier National Park: Claire's first suspension bridge over a high canyon with raging river waters below... ok not really.. it was a cute little stream about 6 feet down.. but it was a wiggle wobbly bridge.. very cool!

Claire hanging in the bjorn..

Taking the advice of cousins Thom and Melissa we did the Grove of the Patriarchs hike through tall cedars, Douglas firs, hemlocks and more! It was beautiful and smelled so good!

In addition to hiking Claire has been taking up a few other hobbies lately including trying to fit her fist in her mouth and sitting up in her little green chair! Very exciting times at the Herrman house.

We have cute outfits and bath time fun coming up next... plus this weekend is Claire and Daddy's first trip to Pullman... stay tuned for more fun!
