Seattle got it's first snowfall of the season today! It seems as though we went from a mild autumn straight into the snowy cold days of winter. Unlike most of the metro area though we didn't let the white stuff keep us locked inside. We headed out for santa pictures, breakfast with family, some christmas shopping, the dog park and time with friends. Claire has experienced snow already (on a trip over the mountains and Thanksgiving in Wisconsin) so we didn't go too crazy having actual fun IN the snow today.. more just enjoying it from the warmth of the car/house...A view from our kitchen window

We also put an offer in on a house yesterday. We surprised ourselves by realizing that for now living in the city is probably what's best. So we looked and looked and decided to try our luck at a perfect cottage style house in the Madrona area. We'll see if the seller(s) think our offer is as nifty as we do. So while we await our fate on that we continue to have a truly wonderful time celebrating Claire's first Christmas with the world.
