Moving along.. we are sad to report that we are celebrating Auntie Anne's last supper this evening with dinner in the University District. Auntie Anne heads back to school tomorrow so we will once again be back to just three. (plus the animals)
Claire decided to dress up a little sassy this evening for dinner.. sporting a fabulous onesie passed down from super cousin McKenzie. A classic look with a classic saying.
We'll be sure and honor the saying at dinner and avoid all corner placement for the princess.
So we are enjoying the summer with partial work days and long weekends. This past week has been fun and laid back - I had a spa escape day which was a wonderful retreat and this past weekend we made it to both the Magneson and Marymoor dog parks - needless to say our other little girl was much happier and very tired out after playing with other pooches and swimming in Lake Washington and the Marymoor river.
Claire and I along with daddy on occasion have been exploring different coffee shops in and around the Seattle area trying to find a new favorite. (for those Seattlites reading the blog so far the Java Bean in West Seattle is our favorite.. send us your suggestions we would love to try your favorite - a big thanks to cousin Melissa for suggesting the Java Bean)
More out and about this weekend - we'll be adjusting to life without Annie but looking forward to her visit in a couple weeks as well as some upcoming visits from Aunt Michele, friend Captain Peter Reed and Grandma.
Cousin Lindsay was married over the weekend - we were sad we could not make the trek to Wyoming to share in the festivities - but we wish the happy couple well and can't wait until our paths cross in the future. Here's a picture of the Herrman/Dunnum family from the wedding.
ps. Happy 37th Wedding Anniversary to Grandma & Grandpa Zaremba today! Congratulations.
